x times x = x^2 than x times -1 = -x than -12 times x = -12x and -12 times -1 = 12 so. x^2-x-12x+12=0
=x^2-13x+12=0
=x^2-13x-12
o heres the quad....
[13+and- square Root(13^2-(4*1*12))]/2
=[13+and- square Root(121)]/2
=(13+11)/2 and =(13-11)/2
=24/2 and 2/2
so the answers are 12 and 1
