I'm doing this debate for school and my thesis is Should Violent Video Games Be Banned to Children?

I would just like your opinion on the subject and if you have any info that may help me in my research it would be highly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your opinions and knowledge.

Yes, no, maybe. Kids throughout the centuries have played violent games i.e. army, knights, hunting, football etc. This play is natural and rarely is the actual cause for adult violence. On the other hand, gratuitous violence and promotion of illegal activities are probably not the best things in games.

It depends on how mature the kids are. My sibling played violent games when he was young but he knew the diffrence between reality and the game world. He also doesn't have violent tendencys so my parents raised him pretty darn good.
When I was little I would watch good guys killing bad guys in movies and I knew even then it was movie magic not reality.
My sibling would also let me play his computer games too but I never had the urge to shoot any one in my old school I just wanted to sue my old school and still kinda do but that is fading since I'm not longer in that kind of hell.

Of coarse they should be banned for kids, Adults, no, but kids yes......

Just like violent movies, violent video games should not be sold or played....not even watched by kids.
