Fishtail

Dan McGuire’s on the bank
Set the hook with yank, crank the reel
To reveal a Rainbow Trout
There’s no doubt, he’s the greatest of them all

He calls out the Northern Pike
By the dyke, along the dam, night crawler can
Handsome Dan and the Rock Bass Band
With the pan-fried Walleye plan, he’s the man

Like a Surgeon he pulls Sturgeon from the lake
No mistake, he takes his time, and some line
So we can dine on Catfish, fine
Angler divine, Dan McGuire

Dang it!!!!! That's why I couldn't find it, and needed to answer it on your other poem question.

I've had all sorts of PC problems this morning/afternoon...I've just borrowed a different mouse from the son next door, until the married son can get over here with the one he borrowed from me--and left me with the crappy one that the kittens knocked on the floor--in addition to stepping on all sorts of keys that opened and changed stuff.

Anyway, this poem means a lot to me...from my fishing club days...the other poem also means a lot in regard to what's happening in the here and now. You're really good!!!

(((Yoooooinnnnkk!)))
Virtues of lifestyle of an aquatic crimeboss

Mr. Beaver wanted to rob a bank
Set the bait with a tank, ****** the hammer, slammed the box shot
To reveal a bag of snot
There’s no doubt, his plan was sabotaged and foiled by some squoilles…

He called his friend Crankhead Mike from the pokey
With hair spiked, along the dam he swam, like only a toothless old crocodile can
His Hideous wife Fran spat out some phlegm at the Croc’s friend getting banged
With the crusted custardy flan, and a piece of old ham she cursed Mr. Beaver.

Like a virgin he yoinks the detergent from his magic snake
No mistake… He snorts Ajax lines and feels fine while talking in cryptic rhymes
So we can dine on week-old bagels, and lox divine
With the girls so fly and the pineapple wine on the outside. Let the time slip away…
