Gun Smoke fans, has anyone ever met Buck Taylor?

I met Buck Taylor (Newly) this past weekend. He is extremly friendly and a very great artist.

I had seen him Saturday and was really impressed with the way he responded to my kids. We had a few moments with him and I was really amazed how friendly he was.

I will not get into the details but he done something very unexpected for my children (we are very grateful) something we did not ask for they just wanted to meet him.

I guess what is so suprising is that most folks don't show that kind of kindness, he had nothing to gain. I guess I leave everyone hanging wondering but I will keep the details to myself.

Has anyone reading ever met a celebrity or semi-celeb and had them to do something very nice to them that was unexpected?

that was good. no i never meet him. . i saw some re- runs of gun- smoke. but i have the priviled of meating Loretta Lyn twice, the first time i mett her it was in fort- benning ga. she came to this military post t o entertain the sold ier then the 2 time we were in germany, she came also to entertain the military family and we also meet every one that play in the movie Tank, this movie was also film on fort, benning georgia. And we also met sheila e and raven- simone and much more that came to this military post to entertain all of us i thank God that i had a chance to met all of these wonderful people; they sign our books tapes records albuns and diaries, yes it was a blessing. take care.

I'm kind of young here so sorry, I'm not sure which character Buck Taylor played. I love Gun Smoke though. I used to watch it all the time. The re-runs.

My granfather went to school with Ken Curtis (Festus) and I met him when I was a little girl. He signed a photo for me, too.
