I tried that for 3 years in my first marriage and when the same things kept being repeated I realized that there was no longer a reason to keep wasting my time, 2 years of it was in counseling!!

If there is still love there then I don't care what it takes, SAVE IT!!! You might be a little unhappy right now, but you will hate yourself if you walk out and still love them (especially if you know that they love you too.) Marriage is not easy at times, but those times are when you have the chance to make your relationship even stronger. You both have to be true to each other and really open yourself back up to your partner.

that depends on the marriage. I feel that in some cases it might help. I know that the only way your going to fix things is by having a heart to heart with each other, maybe several. If you want to keep love strong you have to show it to them and accept it from them.

It all depends on what you're willing to put up with. Marriage is NEVER easy. There are always going to be rough times. If you really love who you are with, you'll do what it takes to make it work. That goes for both parties though. It can't be one sided. I think too many people give up way too easily. My opinion.

After you take so many breaks that you start adjusting to it :) Who, keeps wanting to take theese breaks? Is it you or him? If it is you then you need to think why you keep taking them and if it is him then maybe he is cheating and he feels better about cheating if you two are taking a "break"!!!!! Good Luck!!!

Marriage is hard work. It's something you have to work at all the time to have a successful one. Hang in there if can. Nothing in life is ever easy.

No, there has to be a point when you just feel you are better off on your own, but only you will know when that point comes

No. Marriage isn't meant for taking breaks, it is a commitment. If you can't handle being together full time then it is time to quit
