Sonny made Cher. He was the total brains of that pair. He was my Congressman until he died.

They were quite the pair until Cher started her transformation, nose, boobs, clothes, and glib attitude. Soon Sunny was little else that the butt of her jokes. He was a good guy and I'm not sure what Cher became, I guess a woman of her desires. I don't think she is grown yet. Her children are a bit of a strange lot. Cher may have had Sonny but I don't think he ever really had her. Just my opinion--no bashing intended. ;0)

I was a fan of Sonny and Cher and their music. For me this makes sense in a lot of ways. There's much I didn't understand about the things I did or even about myself, until I was older.

They were very wise words. They remind me of "I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now." Beatles
Those were the days when I knew it all. I was smarter than my parents and anyone else over 30. But now, I do realize that I have so much more to learn. It's funny that I thought I knew so much at such a young age!

Ever hear of the saying "wisdom is wasted on the young"? I used to wonder what that really meant until I got older. Think about it, would you REALLY have wanted to understand as you do now when you were young?
It would have taken all the fun out of being young, naive and stoopid! LOL

Very much true. Sometimes we have to wait a long time to understand things, because when we were young, we were not as wise as we are now.
We all think we have someone who will never leave us, but they do. When they do, we have a choice, we can remain in that bad memory or we can make good memories for ourselves.

They were so sweet as a couple. We met them in person my daughter played with Chas ( about a year old) at Pixie Woods, Stockton Ca. they were doing a promotional to sell those bell bottom trousers with our company. We loved "I Got You Babe".
