Of course they can - it's essentially a best-of-five series now, in which anything can happen. All those people saying that they have no chance now are just being illogical.

Anyone who believes that they can accurately predict the outcome of playoff series on a regular basis are wrong. Nobody saw the Cards winning last season, just as they didn't see the Marlins winning in 2003. Still, they continue to come on here and post their meaningless predictions.

Have faith in your team - they tied for the best record in the league, and they've still got a good shot at winning this series. Don't read too much into a single game, like so many people on this site love to do.

I sure hope they don't but ain't it funny how after the Red Sox won game one, without ease how all the Red Sox fans were saying how they were going to do the same thing in game two. Why didn't the Red Sox win? Did they under estitmate the Indians? I think if Cleveland wins tonight, the momentum will be on their side & could possibly win this series.

Any team can win at any time. Therefore, yes, the Red Sox have as much of a chance to win as the Indians. The only change is that now the series becomes a "short" series with the home field advantage going to the Indians.

As we've seen thought out both the NL and AL series, home field has not had that much of an impact on road teams.

You can be concerned if you'd like but don't be scared. Enjoy the moment!

they can pull it out ...

Boston paid big bucks to get relief pitcher Eric Gagne to Beantown and let's face it he blew it, yet again, on Saturday night. Can the beaners battle back after losing home field advantage to the upstart tribe? They'll have to if they want a shot at a second World Series title in four years.

Tonight's game in Cleveland runs at 7 p.m. EST and sees Japanese odd-baller Daisuke "Dice-K" Matsuzaka (0-0) face Jake Westbrook (0-1). Neither pitcher has played all that well in the post season, with ERAs of 5.79 and 10.80 respectively.

Boston is favored to win (-123) despite the fact the Indians only lost 29 times at home all season. The Over/ Under sits at just 10 despite there being two inexperienced postseason pitchers on the mound and the fact that the teams combined for a whopping 32 runs in the first two games.

The last game at Jacobs Field was more like the apocalypse than a ball game, with a swarm of insects surround the stadium, rattling New York Yankees ace Joba Chamberlain, and laying the way for a come from behind Indians win in Game 2 of the ALDS.

I agree it's anybody's game right now, so we will see I hope the Indians do well in Cleveland because these 3 home games are very important for them, of course they are for your Sox too, because if they go back to Boston ahead that will be huge for them.

Go Indians.

I'm sorry, but the answer to your question is no. The Red Sox had The Tribe on the ropes and then got KO'd themselves. The Indians are confident now, it's over for your beloved Sox. Tribe in six.

if you mean lose the series in 6 games, I believe they can.

Friday should have scared you more because the Indians lost, but think positive, they took home field advantage away from the Red sox and should take 2 out of 3 (at least)

Don't worry, the Indians will take it.

I hope not. I would rather see the Indians do it simply because I would like to see a different team win it. Not to mention that I never ever want the Red Sox win it again for letting the Mets win it in '86. Neither National league team deserves it as much as Cleveland. The Rockies are on the most inexplainable win streak of all time and I find it hard to believe it could go all the way to a world championship. If they win it I would have to chalk it up to the most unimaginable aberration of statistics I've ever seen in sports. The Diamondbacks already bought one championship so I wouldn't want them to do another Florida Marlins repeat.

They will be fine...I think they will win at least 2 of 3 in Cleveland and may just finish off the series there. I think the Sox are definitely going to the Series...I think Daisuke steps it up...and by steps it up I mean he doesn't suck it up as he has been doing recently and keeps the Sox in the game and the bullpen closes the gate and they pull out a game 3 win.
