Red Sox do not have only one great pitcher. They have enough in their rotation as well as their pen to beat Indians and the rockies. If red sox does go to the WS, which they wont because Indians will cream them the rest of the series.
Rockies though, have crazy number past 20 or so games. I wouldn't mind riding on that momentum. Rockies do have a good chance of taking the trophy home.
LETS GO INDIANS!!

Dude. Look at last year, the Tigers were better on paper and everybody had them to win it all. And what happened? The Cardinals from the "lowly" NL league won it all!
Now, the Rockies have won 20 out of 21 and will sweep the Diamondbacks tonight. They will have a week of rest before the World Series. Their ace, Francis will out-pitch the Sox/Tribe in the Game 1 and lead the Rockies to the title!

Timmy P: Wake up Peter Pan! This isn't a fantasy league! Last year the Tigers clearly looked better on paper and they bowed to the Cardinals, who most felt didn't deserve to be there, especially Met's fans. The Rockies have more energy than any other club playing right now. The city is going bonkers! They have just as good of a chance as the Sox and Indians winning the whole thing! Rockies over The Tribe in six. If it goes to seven, Indians.

The Rockies are incredibly hot right now, nobody can deny that. I'm very impressed with the way they're playing and since their first win against Arizona in the NLCS, I decided yes, they're going to the World Series. But will they beat the Red Sox? You have to be realistic. I don't think the hottest Rockies team could get that done. They're no match. They beat the pants off the Phillies and now the D-Backs, but those teams aren't anywhere near the level of Boston. I'll be rooting for the Rockies in the WS, but I don't think I'll be happy with the outcome.

The Rockies are on an amazing roll, but you have to know that a streak like that could come to a crashing halt at any time. Their pitching has been better of late, but you can't expect a guy like Josh Fogg to continue to shut down good hitters.
The opening-series victory over the Phils was impressive, but I wouldn't read too much into the current series. The Diamondbacks have had a great season, but it can't be surprising to any real fan that they're collapsing. They're a team who managed to win a division despite being outscored, so this is just a case of luck finally catching up to them.
In a short series, the Rockies will have a shot against the Sox or Tribe. Matchups don't matter much in a best-of-seven - just ask last year's Tigers, or the 2003 Yankees.

I think the Rockies will probably go to the World Series and I would love to see them win! You're right on that...the Rockies bullpen has been outstanding! I've learned very quickly that if we can hold back the team we're playing until the 7th inning...the game's pretty much over. Fuentes and Corpas have been doing a great job as the 8th inning guy and the closer, and so have Affeldt, Herges, Speier, Buchholtz, Hawkins, and Hirsh being the relief guys....Francis, Morales, Jimenez, and Fogg have done outstanding jobs as starting pitchers. One of the stats the TBS guys don't even mention is that the Rockies had the lowest team ERA since the All Star break......if that doesn't say anything for itself...then..........

The Rockies have been playing so well, that they are difficult to beat right now. Every single player in the line up is contributing and a new player steps up to be the hero each game. There isn't a weakness on the team right now. I definitely think they win it all.

I think it's important to remember that the Rockies are just enjoying the post-season rather than getting bogged down in the stress and media. To me, this outweighs all else. Even a loss or two won't damage their momentum much. On that note...go rox.

I sure hope so, the Rockies are white hot right now but the past has shown the AL to be dominant in the series. I would love nothing more to see the Rockies topple such a huge AL East power and show that money doesn't buy happiness! (Take note Steinbrenner)
