I dont care what part...but i just really want to be in one...its my favorite musical and it seems that the theatre where i live would never be able to pull it off...i want to like suggest it for next season, but i just dont know....for you guys who have done it, is it a super hard production to pull of and is it really expensive? any suggestions?

It depends on how big your stage and backstage areas are as far as logistics go. The costumes can be cumbersome and you need a good sized stage area in order for the choreography to work. Your stage entrances need to be able to handle everything too particularly the wardrobe and Belle's hoop skirts.

Like Theatre Doc said, by all means suggest it. They can figure everything else out. Costumes can be modified as well as budgets. Maybe you can do some research and offer to help in any way you can. If there are any sticking points maybe you can help by looking up solutions.

Don't forget to look outside your one theatre, there are others that may be considering it or other shows with roles for you for their upcoming season. Check your local entertainment listings for other theatres. Look at their websites for upcoming shows and audition dates. Branch out!

Go ahead and suggest it. It is the directors' job to solve the financial and production problems.
