...well, I really get a kick out of the 'easter eggs' that they put on some of the DVD releases, and two DVDs that really stood out in mind, as challenging to figure out, without out looking up the solutions on the 'net, were:
...the special edition DVD release of "Memento". I found out, about four or five months after purchasing this one, that if you follow the clues, and solve a rather enigmatic puzzle, via the varied slides and special feature windows, you can re-watch the film in straight linear fashion, instead of backwards; it took me another couple of weeks to figure it out, by myself...
...the second-to-the-last special edition of "Terminator 2: Judgement Day". Before purchasing this title, I found out that through an intricate, yet obvious 'easter egg', one can find a special director's cut of the film (...which was more readily available, in the more recent special edition of the film); the DVD already contained the original theatrical version, and an extended version, with some additional footage. The third version, the previously mentioned special director's cut, was found when you accessed a certain special features window, went to what appeared to be a counter under a Terminator's bare endo-skeleton head, and entered the exact date of 'judgement day'...
...they were a challenge, but I eventually found them!!!
...I eagarly look for other DVD releases, with similarly challenging 'easter egg'-hidden special features...

I'd have to go with either the King Kong DVD which featured bonus footage that was more than just throw away stuff... it featured some good scenes...
and the Sin City Special Edition which also featured more bonus footage...
To be honest, I like the DVD's that have extra footage not shown in theaters... all the supplements really don't make the movie watching experience better or worse for me.

no longer each and every action picture is a container-place of work harm. Many have a ordinary launch with the intention to generate revenues for everyday action picture creditors. The trick is to envision which of them had a hurry pastime on their launch. One relatively sturdy occasion of it is The Transformers. you be attentive to there is going to be a re-launch this autumn to regenerate fanfare and yet yet another launch is and while there's a sequel. i think of i'm on my third "anniversary" copies of Reservoir canines, Terminator 2 and that i've got no longer even offered i don't be attentive to what number variations of military of Darkness i've got seen yet on no account offered. regrettably it relatively is form of of a money grab to the undemanding people who certainly pay for video clips rather of downloading them.

The whole "Alien Quadrilogy" set gave me increased appreciation for that series.
