Dems tell us how bad "red" states are. Let's look in the mirror.

Judges know which is worse --- pay attention to the sentencing. One is the actual committing of a permanent ending of a life. The other is a threat --- not the actual ending of a life.

I know from the tone of your question that you already know the answer, you're just looking for a response. Unfortunately for people like you and I, our liberal friends are so filled with self-loathing and so utterly devoid of any sort of moral or intellectual honesty, they aren't able so face the facts.
The hanging of nooses in the tree at a high school was wrong, dead wrong. Still, it was nothing more than a symbolic gesture, and let’s be honest. It was really nothing more than a stupid prank by one or more ignorant, childish and immature high school kids. I’m not defending it, it was and is wrong, but nobody got hurt by the nooses.
On the other hand, in the other circumstance, six innocent children were gunned down. It doesn’t matter why, it doesn’t matter by whom, the fact is that six lives were taken for no good reason before they had a chance to live their lives.
That is the difference between them and us. They are unable and unwilling to recognize that here are differing levels of crime and wrong doing. They are only looking for another chance to attempt to divide and hopefully (for them) conquer.
P.S. Did you notice their condemnation of the nooses, but not the attack on the innocent kid because of the nooses? Pathetic. Double standards and moral dishonesty are terrible things. Have a nice day.

They can be both as bad as each other. Its about society and the people that live in it. The armish massacre was a terrible event. Noose's can mean more than just a noose. It's also an attack, an immoral attack on certain people in society. The amish were singled out because of frustration by a person. The noose is being held up because of racism and a pathetic excuse for education! So l would say they r both as bad as each other but a shocking comparrison to make!!

The hanging of nooses in a tree was a bad thing and something that can lead to social problems.
Although there are worse crimes (the Amish case for instance), it does not mean that other crimes are not bad. They are still bad for sure.
Furthermore, the implications of hanging nooses can be dramatic, and that's why this crime needs to be condemned completely and everybody (liberal or conservative) needs to stand up against it.

Because your source is the Free Republic. That is why. The areas with the more personal freedoms and liberty are actually very liberal blue states. Half of red conservative counties in the Deep South don't even allow the sale of alcohol. It is conservative states that are banning gay marriage. How is that "individual freedom"?

Has our society really come to picking the "worst" of two evils? I'm sick of hearing about murders, hate crimes, rapes, and abuse. What about the good our society does? What about the charities, the good samaritans, the animal rescuers? Everyone is quick to blame the North or South, the Conservatives of Liberals, the blacks or the whites. But what about those that do good?

You can't see the difference between an act of a sole crazy individual and pervasive regional racism?
And how much these 2 incidents are apples and oranges?

I think you are for posting this question.
You want to exploit tragic killings in order to defend racism?

That is like asking whether you'd rather be tortured to a near death or murdered. Both are horrendous.
