All my friends see me as 'the serious one', which is just a polite way of saying 'boring'.
Do you ever wish you were 'the fun one' for a change?
Do you think we can ever change who we are without being fake?

Hey girl!

Serious is great - it's deep and not everyone is capable of going there.

However, you can be the fun one, if you want.

I am sure there are many facets, aspects to your personality - just don't be afraid to bring them out - it's not fake - it's just another side of you - let the fun side out too and have yourself a ball.

Good luck!

All the time, but I guess it doesn't matter anymore as my circle of friends has turned into a mere handful.

I don't even 'try' to be a social butterfly anymore, I don't think it's worth being fake just to have potentially fake friends. I have enough online friends that are non-judgmental to fill the void in real time anyways. It's still nice to hang out with people, but I'm rather anti-social as it is. It's funny to know how many 'friends' I had as a party-my-face-off drunkard... I'm so weary of daily drama that I can truly do without anymore in my life.

Being SERIOUS does NOT mean "boring" ... it means that you are Concentrating on the "Goal" of being able to be a responsible and caring adult .. self reliant and self providing, strong and resilient ... all POSITIVE Traits for sure!

Hey your friends love you, just continue being who u r. Every group of friends have a "serious one" but they r still your freinds and at least you have them. Just be happy with what you have, not what you want.

To be perfectly honest, I've never been accused of being "the serious one". I've always been "the big kid".
You probably just take yourself too seriously. Let loose! Have fun! Remember, you may not be able to tomorrow!
