Dana 60s were a custom orderable option in b-body(68-77) and e-body (70-74) mopars.

Hemi Cars, 440 4-spd, and the high-end performance car's (6-pack) all came stock with Dana's.

If it doesnt have a dana, it will have an 8 3/4, which came in 2 flavors. Limited Slip, or Sure-grip (Posi).

Identification for what you have can be found here -> http://www.autohobbydigest.com/dana.html (site run by a friend)

Stock but only with the highest performance engines

the easiest way to tell is to look under the car from the back - if you can see the bolts on the back of the axle cover where the gears are it is a Dana 60
If the back is solid and the bolts are on the front of the housing it is an 8 3/4

If you have a 383 it is likely a 8 3/4 - but don't fret - it was a very good Axel
