I left behind everything ... the funds in my bank accounts, my vehicles, my personal possessions, and then gave even more ...
Just to be able to SURVIVE ... for I AM the SURVIVOR of a Short Disaster of a Marriage to an Abusive, Violent Sociopathic Ex ... (who was convicted of also abusing the Toddlers as well).
Just to get us all in the car, to survive the glass windows being punched out (and covered with shattered glass), to drive away with doors bent and not closing .. to get to a 'safe' place ... and to be able to get to the hospital and report to work the next day was what it took for me to LEAVE with the LIVES of MYSELF and MY Toddlers.

Have safety things that are around the house...
have a working fire detector
make them wear seat belts
