what are all of the acutal legalities?
a list would be wonderful.

You can leave home, get a job, marry, pay for your own shelter, register to vote, get a driver's license, join the military, have sex with fellow adults, execute legal documents (enter into binding legal contracts, execute a last will and testament, etc).
You have to wait 3 more years before you can buy/consume alcoholic beverages or own a handgun/get a concealed carry permit.

There is no list. You are of legal age and you can fly across the world and never come back if you wish. Parents no longer have any legal authority over you unless they go to court and prove you are some how mentally or physically incompetent to care for yourself.

you can tell your parents to go find a hobby... at 18 there's nothing they can do unless they prove that you are mentally incapable of taking care of yourself.. but, since you're on the computer i doubt that is the case...

You get to find a job and pay for all the stuff your parents have been giving you for years. You get to learn responsibility and how to write checks for all your new bills.
