So how can it be that colt brennan (hawaii QB) is in the heisman race and graham harrell (Texas Tech QB) is not? it's rediculous...yes Tech has a loss but has a way tougher schedule than Hawaii does and Harrell has thrown 31 TOUCHDOWN PASSES!!!! while Brennan has thrown 20. and Harrell has thrown only 3 interceptions while Brennan has thrown 10. does that make sense to anyone? i mean i dont know if Harrell deserves the Heisman but Brennan? he shouldn't even be on that list!

First off i would like to say that both of them are products of very good systems, thats why ya boy Graham has 31 td's.... yes tech has lost a game but if Graham were to be considered as the best player in the nation they would have to be undefeated since he is the head of an offense that throws a lot... i agree that brennan doesn't belong on the list however his team is having some success following up from last which means somebody is doing something right and since he's the quarterback in a system that passes most of the time then he gets the credit... i don't mean to hurt your feelings but in my book the only two players who even have a chance at the heisman this year are Darren McFadden and Andre Woodson (the winner by a nose).... no one else is playing better than these two right now and they might go 1 and 2 in the draft

I don't know if you're aware of this, but nowadays players campaign to win the Heisman. The players and their schools make "Heisman videos" and send their information out to the voters. For a player to overtake the pre-season "favorites" that have been campaigning since before the season started, they must put up crazy numbers, and shine when their team is in the spotlight.

The Heisman is just like the polls. They pick the players before the season starts and don't like to change them because they were wrong. The polls are the same. They always put certain teams at the top and can't imagine that any other teams are good until they don't have a choice.
