What a absolutely boring "nothing" this series has turned out to be! Not to mention that most of the country can't even stay awake because of the time zone factor. And to top it off, it's not even good baseball. Is the National League really this bad?

Frizzer my friend, I'm watching it too and that's why it's killing me! lol
And to the people attaching the Yankees to my question, this has nothing to do with the Yankees. You're comments just don't float!

Hey Michael B, there is no reason for the name calling. You can agree to disagree.

To the person who feels my "Gila Monsters & mountain goats" is in refernce to the teams fans, not at all. I am stressing the overall lack of interest and mediocre play. I never get involved in name calling.

I watched the game and saw some amazing defensive plays, Atkins for Colorado, and the D-back's 2b (I forget his name) sliding in for that catch.
As for the time, even though I am on EST, I don't think baseball should force west coast fans to adjust to an EST frame of reference.
To me, if you are a baseball fan, you're watching for the most part.

Bob Valvano on his ESPN radio show this weekend was critical of the starting times and endless commercial breaks for the entire playoffs & this goes deeper than time zones.
Day or early evening baseball until the World Series or even having day weekend games for the WS would eliminate much of the "who cares" factor, because people could actually watch an entire game. And I don't want to hear about sponsors....if the ratings are pathetic, they aren't getting the most out of the ad dollars.
MLB is becoming a hybrid of college football...fans mostly care about their team & can care less about other games/teams. But don't expect Bud and his buddies to do anything about this until it gets even worse.

I find the ALCS as boring as the NLCS. When your team is not in it - it tends to just be boring. They have had the two lowest rating for World Series the last two years. I suspect that the same could happen this year. I partially blame this dumb tv schedule. Starting games at 9:00 central is just too late. But more than that - I find no reason to run and watch any of these games. But that is the same every year my team is not in the playoffs.

Not many according to the ratings. I'm cheering for the Rockies because Todd Helton reminds be of Donny Baseball. Both are true gamers that played every day and never complained about anything.

Are gila monsters and mountain goats what you're calling fans in Arizona and Colorado? For shame. Just looking at the scores so far indicate that the NL games are closer. In the AL, you have numbers that look like low scoring football games. But, whatever floats you boat. Please take care with namecalling, though.

You know, most of us may not be watching but we are in the midst of one of the most remarkable team streaks in the 140+ years of professional baseball. If the Rockies manage to take this all the way and win the whole shooting match, I for one am going to be sorry I didn't pay more attention.

NL teams hope to get to the world series and then get lucky. It's no surprise the outcome of past all-star games. The AL is just a better league. I have to give it up to Colorado though. 20 out of the last 21 is outstanding no matter what.

I have been watching -- as much as possible. I love postseason baseball and I watch all the games. Unfortunately, the west coast games start a little late for me (I'm old now) but it's still good baseball.

Rockies have the best fielding rating of any team in baseball history. Not to mention they haven't lost a postseason game yet this year. They are now on the cusp of their first trip to the WS, ever.
