Personally, I continue to be amazed daily. I have lived through much of the ( American ) history many reference to in their Q&A's. Having first hand exposure to the reality, I can say without a doubt, more than not have a revisionist understanding of past events. When I read threads from Waco’s who's political axe is sharpened daily with blog sites I cry for this nation. I weep for the loss of truth, morals, respect, and wisdom. Since liberals have nothing better to do than *****, *****, ***** the internet is their heaven on earth. Their collective hive. If there is such a thing as the BORG, it would be the misinformation machine of ideology. If you want to hear GOD laugh, tell him your plan.

Bob, the *****,*****,***** reference is to the fact liberalism decades ago actually did make positive changes. These days the actions of these so called liberals are nothing more than hate mongers, who's idea of protest result in shouting down ( I.e. zero tolerance for apposing views), and violent acts against anyone they disagree with. I very rarely see this from stable minded dissenters.

Dude! Calm down!

No weeping!

It's the Internet. It's full of bored work-at-homes like me and house-bound agoraphobics who don't amount to a hill of beans.

The people that matter are not here. Too busy.

I treat everything I read with skepticism. Blogs, newspapers, political columns, text books - all of it.

BTW, I don't think it was liberals who were objecting to the Iranian president being allowed to speak at Columbia University a few weeks ago. His appearance was a perfect example of allowing people first hand information about a controvercial figure instead of having them just read biased accounts of him in blogs and news reports.

A lot of our history is not in the history books. The first slaves brought to this country were from England and were white people. I know this by tracing my family history. Children were kidnapped from the streets of London. My ancestor "John Cooke" was one of the slaves and so was his wife. Shouldn't this group of ancestor's receive an apology too?

I certainly don't believe everything on the Internet. Anyone can post anything and claim it is true. Only someone very gullible would believe everything on line. Someone truly well informed gets their information from a variety of sources, and then is able to use their discernment to figure out what is true and what is not.

Depends on what I am reading and how many sources I can find to back up the information. There are many credible sources of the same information, there are also many non credible sites as well. You must research before opening your mouth, especially if you don't want to place your foot in it.
