The other day I called my cable company and they said the wait time was going to be from 56 minutes to an hour and 26 minutes! Thank god they have a feature were they call you back when it is your turn and you don't lose your place.
If you weren't important then they would never answer.

I am the worst when it comes to hold. I normally only call place like that where I could put it on Speaker phone at my work. One time it took them 9 minutes to get back to me, I told them could they please hold, they hung up, and I called back asking to speak to their supervisor supervisor. That if I could wait 5-10 minutes for them, they could wait 30 seconds for me to transfer a call. I got my credit card interest rate dropped to 4.1% from 6.5%. So it was worth it.

Ohhh its so annoying! The worst is when they tell you to talk into the phone to the stupid computer for all your information then an operater gets on and askes you for the same thing! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
