What is their *share*? I stay home and work, he works for the county. Since I'm home most of the time, I do most of the housework. Seems a fair trade for not having to go out amongst the idiots.

I think anyone who lives should pick up/ clean up after themselves. As far as the majority of cleaning~~all depends on your situation. I work part-time ...so most of the housework is done by me.I also, take care of the children and the cooking. Kinda old fashion, but it works for us.

Yes. In the same way I think women should alsokill the live cockroach/spider in the bedroom, take out the rubbish, clean the yard, mow the lawn, wax the car etc.
If you are married woman and are already doing this, ditch the bum.

I don't mind doin all the housework, because I only work weekends, I keep my week open because I'm planning to go back to school. His work schedule changes time to time, so all I'm askin is for him to clean up after himself, and supply what we need.

Yes of course! why shouldnt they? what is it about female that makes it your responsibility to do the housework. i have this debate with my husband. we both work full time but he just seems to treat the house like a hotel. he washes dishes occassionally but that is it. On the odd occassion that he hoovers -around the front of the telly, he wants a medal.

it drives me mad !

I stay home so I do most of it anyway. I like it that he does all of the laundry;) He is a sweetheart when he comes home and wants to help out with dinner also;) I like helping out with the yard work , but he is better at it.... so I help if he needs it;)

I'm not really into having a man do my house, I do like it when they do what they'r told though. U know like take out the trash, sometimes wash the dishes if I'm not feeling up to par, but that's about it
