They are the young kids in school right now. They are my daughter and her friends. Have faith in them, and raise them right. Set good examples for them and help them keep their priorities in the right place.

For instance, my 6 year old knows about the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, WWI and WWII as well as the more recent conflicts. She knows who the President and Vice President are, and she understands our three branches of government, how our system of government works and why it's important to vote and be active in our community.

If people don't feel that the schools teach our children what they need to know to grow them into the leaders of tomorrow, then take responsibility for it yourself. My husband and I certainly do. Although we live in a fantastic school district, we don't rely on the school or her teachers to teach her everything she will need to know. We are totally involved and responsible for her. SHE is our investment in the future.

Tomorrow will be the time without any leader or it won´t come anyway. Leadership can only cause total destruction.
