i used to get up abotu 5:30 am all hyper running abotu get told u go bck to be then abotu 6:30 i do the same get told u got bck to bed then abotu 8 am i used to get up n open prezzi n runa botu screamin and playing all day

I can remember waking up and seeing all my presents from Father Christmas at the bottom of my bed. My sister and I used to call for our parents and then we used to go downstairs to open them all, as well as the main 'big' present and the stocking fillers. After linch we opened the gifts from other people that were under the tree. I know we were spoiled!

well in my country we open the presents on the eve of the 24th december
so the next day morning when it was still dark outside i woke up before the family. plugged in the lights on the tree and played with my amazing new toys and i felt so very happy

I think that was the only year it snowed. I got a new bicycle and couldn't go out on it. Got plenty of other things to occupy me in the meantime, best thing, the Oor Wullie Annual!!! Oh, remember that groovy wrapping paper in black wi' pictures o' Santa???

I was really excited and couldn't wait to open them, i rushed downstairs had my breakfast and opened my presents.
I then couldn't wait to go round and see the rest of the family and open the presents from them.
I love christmas, it's so exciting.

I woke up pre-dawn and played with the new toys in the dark for an hour, then went back to sleep and woke up again to continue playing with them.
Now that I am older, I wake up after dawn to play with my new stuff.

Probably woke up really early and just rushed downstairs in pyjamas.
Now i wake up when i want and get dressed and do other stuff before i even go downstairs =[

look for gifts under the Christmas tree then aim straight for the kitchen and all the goodies

I can't remember being 8!!!!!!!! And I'm only 23 now :/
I assume that, being a child, I was pretty excited.
