my name is kandi. i had my child in 2004 and ever since then her belly button has been bleeding. i was wondering if their is any information on how to stop it. any information would be of great help. thank you all for listening.

It shouldn`t still be bleeding. Three years is an awful long time. My daughter`s cord didn`t heal well either and at about 3 weeks of age the doctor swabbed silver nitrate on it. It healed without any further problems.

Is it a cut or a scab or just bleeding? If it a cut then you have no need to worry but if not I suggest you consult a doctor!

after three years, consult a doctor. if you already have and the doctor didn't do anything, consult a different doctor.
