My first dog was a white german shepherd dog named whitey and he died saving my life. I was trying to go to the road and he pulled me back but he ended up getting hit. my first cat's name was princess-she used to get up on a bale of hay and lick my ear. Since then I have had a lot of pets and remember most of them vividly and I am 56 years old now. I love animals!

I got my dog when I was 5 and I loved her to bits, her name was Sandy and she was a Golden Lab. She had to be put down after 9 years and I was devastated.

Mine was an alley cat named Pepper. His fur looked like pepper. He followed me everywhere I went. My mom actually captured a picture of us walking down the road.. as she snapped the photo, he had jumped about 5 feet in the air and had a butterfly between his paws. He was an awesome companion.
