I am really getting bored at home. So I was going to get a few PS2 games to play in my spare time. ( only getting a next-gen console next year ) I have enough money to get 3 games but I could only narrow it down to four games. Could you guys please reccomend which of the following 3 are best out of all of them:
1. God Of War 2
2. Resident Evil 4 ( Is it that scary? )
3. Spiderman: friend or foe
4. NBA 2k8

God of War 2 and Resident Evil 4 are 2 of the best games I've ever played. I can't say enough good things about both of them. GoW2 is the best action game available, and RE4 is the best survival horror game right now. Also, RE4 isn't terribly scary, but I jumped a few times in it. It's packed full of action. I haven't played the other 2 listed, but you simply must get GoW2 & RE4. You won't regret it! Here are some reviews from IGN if you'd like to read them:

I guess it would be enjoyable to play NBA 2008 if you are the type who wants hoop action. If you are the type who wants to have that touch of legendary action, then it's God of War. If you want suspense, play Resident Evil. If you are a spiderman fanatic, play spiderman.

im not a real fan of sports games but iv played comic book spinoffs before, dont buy spiderman. God of war 2 is even better than it's predecessor. Resident Evil 4 is visually stunning and has a neat storyline. havent played any NBA games but its prolly better than spideman

Resident Evil 4 is one of the top rated games EVER. It ROCKS! There are some scary parts when you are alone and everything's all dark and stuff, but you should at least rent the game.

all of them but spiderman ... its terrible on the 360 i dont suspect its any better on ps2. plus resident evil 4 is supposed to be one of the best games EVER!

Evangeline. do no longer see how Paisley made it onto this checklist. The others are all stylish and classic. Paisley is trashy, made up and, nicely, a trend, no longer a attractiveness. Sorry, besides the incontrovertible fact that it would be undesirable to have that call. The others are all great particularly thouhg.

i think you should buy god of war2, spiderman:friend or foe and nba 2k8.dont buy resident evil cause it's not that scary.....
