Yes. Life has its ups and downs. Here is how I get through it. 1. Make a list of the things for which you are grateful. Examples: Food, housing, being safe, being able to see, hear, speak, walk, etc. 2. Put the radio on to some uplifting music. Feel the beat, listen to the positive words or to the beautiful voice. 3. Do something useful. Make your bed, hangup your clothes, wash some dishes. Do anything that makes you feel productive and alive. 4. Talk to a friend, relative, or counselor. Communicating with another person is a big help. 5. If necessary go to your family doctor and explain how you feel. Medication can be a big help. Try each of these ideas and good luck. You are not alone and all of us using the Internet are here to help.

I have thought that in the past. When I was 18 I thought life was not worth it and I planned my suicide. Thankfully, I met some Christians who introduced me to Jesus Christ. My relationship with Him has meant everything to me. I'm not saying I never had a tough time after that. I have gone through some difficult, miserable days since I met Jesus, and He has stood by me during each one of them.
I was badly abused as a child and the damage has been difficult to recover from. It has taken a lot of time, effort and help to "get past" my past. I've gotten counseling and even taken medication to help with depression.
Knowing Jesus has made my life worthwhile. He has given me joy and showed me what is beautiful in this life. He has taught me compassion and helped me care about others.
Are you struggling with depression? Has something happened to discourage you? I want you to know God does care. Prayer is just talking things over with God.If you will talk to Jesus he will listen. He wants a relationship with you. I don't know you or know what you need. So, I'll just pray for you and ask God to help you. I hope things get better soon.

Life is definitely worth living. Though there are bad days and in some cases TERRIBLE days...there are usually just as many or actually more normal or even GREAT days. I learn something new everyday and wouldn't trade anything that i have been through...good or bad...for anything. They are why I am the person that I am.

Life is always worth living, even if you are a homeless crack head living in the gutter.
And it has nothing to do with "things are going to get better" or "turn that frown upside down crap." Your life is the one thing you have and you should not give it up no matter how s--ty you think it is, if you do you are letting the world beat you.
AND F THE WORLD!

We are so bombarded with instant news all day long that it becomes overwhelming to our mind and body. As an individual we have to seek our own space in order for peace of mind. Once you have achieved that, life becomes worth living .

Certainly not! Whatever troubles you may have you are not alone .Find someone to confide in.Listen to others. There is always someone worse off than ourselves. Always remember if it does'nt kill you it will make you stronger. Take care and think of all the good stuff in your life.
