It's been 8 years now, I cut down to 5 minutes in the shower, and, hearing them the kids) banging the bathroom door!
Thank goodness for locks!!!!!!!!!!
Don't you miss those good old days???

These are my "morning showers", before I take them to school. (they are 6 and 7 years old). No, MK, I am a very good mother and disciplinarian as well. We have 3 full bathrooms in our home. If they bang the door, it's usually because they are fighting or they don't (as usually) find something that they are looking for!

Oh yes!!! I miss the old days (BC) & if I had them over I would even take a little longer in anticipation for the last 13 ..by 1999 I had 3 under 5.
Honey, I truly know where you are coming from. I swear
without fail as soon as i turn the fawcet on they start.
I am possitive they wait till we are starkers!
.... So that , if buy chance we walk out dripping wet & wrapped in a towel to tell them off ,our credibility is shot to peices before we even speak... lol ...there is nothing serious about a wet mum wrapped in a towel with a frothy (shampoo) head!!! to them its just plain hillarious!
PS In south-east Queensland Australia where I live, we are in a drought & have water restrictions - we now are(by council law) only allowed to have 4 minute showers.

What? First off, I remember as a kid when my mom took a shower.....and I never banged on the door! We watched tv or played a game. Maybe your kids should find a better way to spend their time and maybe you shouldn't be so lacking in the dicipline area.

I would be happy if I could just pee without my little one tagging along~baths are OUT OF THE QUESTION~and showers wait till late at night so I can take a minimum of 20 minutes UNINTERRUPTED !!!

take a long bath after they go to bed at night. then if you have to take a quick shower in the am you will feel you had your time and got good and clean night before.

It's about the same. When he was a baby, I bathed when he was asleep. Now that he's older, there isn't an issue with "door knocking".

yes, as long as I liked.
(used to spend over an hour in the bath on Saturday afternoons!)
Get yourself another bathroom, makes life easier!
