If you are on income support and the deceased has no assets then they will help with costs of the funeral,the undertaker should be able to help you with the forms that are needed.As for flowers and the headstone then they do not help towards that.

You don't have to be on Income Support to get help. The Department of Works & Pensions deals with the claim. They will pay all but a small percentage if the deceased person has left no Estate.

Up to £1500 pounds if you are eligible to apply eg been on a qaulifying benefit for a certain amount of time

Its called funeral fund and available from DWP

UK - if you are on income support you get around £1500 towards funeral expenses, if you are working and have no insurance you dont get anything

In Nigeria, you can get lots of suspicions but the government won't give you a kobo except you are rich or you are a politician or related to a big time politician.

i dont think you get anything if you do just goes to show times have changed as 20 year ago you didnt get owt
