When there was slavery, masters were given rights over slaves. Masters were allowed to beat, starve, torture, rape, and even kill their slaves -- for good reason, bad reason, or no reason at all. But not all masters did that. Some masters were very good to their slaves. Since not all slaveowners were "like that", do you think it was wrong to outlaw slavery?

According to our American standards, all women should be treated equally. It will take time for some other countries to give women their rights, but it is slowly happening, and yes, not all Saudi men treat their women badly.

No, they certainly should not "shud up and get over it". So you are basically saying, it is okay for the law to give men the right to beat women, as long as not everyone is doing this? WTF?

Why don't we make murder in America legal as well, since not everyone murders?

Well thats just their way of life the women should stand up like they are if they want to change things but we as Americans look down on that way of life because we have grown past that. But thats just their way and its not our place to judge or force change we should just put on a good example.
