As I mentioned in the title, what is the importance of microscope in the development of science? Or how the development of microscope enhance the development of science?

As the microscope developed the science of optics was brought into play: developments in optics were adapted to improve the performance of the microscope. To actually
identify & group micro-organisms, staining techniques had to be developed which brought the dyestuffs industry & the microbiologist Robert Koch into play. Some stains are fluorescent and microscopes had to be adapted to use UV
light to see the fluorescence. The microscope brings a lot of mathematics & science into useful purpose thus enhancing the development of science.

dude...i know i will sound like a nerd...but since im a biology freak here's WHAT I KNOW (don't solely trust this)...microscope enhances the development of science, especially in biology and chemistry, because it allows us to study minute particles that our naked eye cannot. In the case of biology, it allows us to see microscopic organisms with ease. In chemistry, we can see blood particles that is necessary in studying our blood...
