Knowledge is the repertoire of information gathered from many and varied sources over a period of time and is 'filtered' for personal worth. Some information is retained for life, some is used for only a specific period of time it all depends on what the individual needs to keep their equilibrium.
An individual needs to make sense of their world and how they fit into it.
Knowledge? It is personal and general all at the same time for individuals and not necessarily different from one to another and yet can still be unique.
Knowledge that a Tibetan Monk requires is not what a beggar in India needs, the law abiding persons knowledge is of little use to the habitual criminal.
Knowledge must have value to whomever uses it.

Knowledge is absolutely useless unless you know how to apply what you have learned to life. I've met people with high amounts of education(so called "retained knowledge") who make very poor decisions and lack common sense strictly because they do not know how to apply what they have learned throughout their life. After all, "knowledge is power". :-P

Knowledge is not biased by self and is not influenced by our values or judgment.... opinion is the bias of self in terms of values and judgment. Knowledge is acquired from external sources and opinion is formed within ourselves....... almost as though knowledge is the input which when processed in our mind, produces the output called opinion.

I feel knowledge is what you learn from life, as in daily living. We all learn something every single day of our lives.
Opinion is what you think or believe on something. THIS is NOT necessarily the truth or correct, but it is what you think and is known as your opinion.
