my grandkids like to step on them. they don't anymore as I explained they are just busy working. i try to avoid stepping on them. well except red ants they got ant kill(when I lived in Fla.)

No, it in no way hurts. human beings presently are so busy between themselves that they don't have adequate time thinking with regard to the soreness of that little creature. The ant's soreness isn't so significant for that individual in any respect,

i step on them when they're few but i avoid them when im outnumbered LOL
