i know its dangerous these days.its been a while for me.not since my car broke down on a highway a couple of years ago.

30 years ago, my friends and I hitchhiked all the time. It's much too dangerous nowadays and I wouldn't advise anyone to do it.

I hitchiked all over the place when I left home. Toward the end though, I had the feeling that my number was about to come up. My luck was running out. So I quit doin' it.

Yes, I've hitchhiked cause I'm VERY independent I won't ask for nothing. That way no one can say to me "YOU OWE ME".
