I haven't played football as yet but i am getting ready to start competitively.I have never played a real game, just backyard football with my friends. I am 15 and i am 6-4 198 pounds. i can throw a football so QB is a option, im not fast enough to play WR, do you think i am big enough to play OL, i was personally thinking TE. I have good hands and when play with friends i am the goto guy when needing short yards.

Give Me your opinion of what position you think i should play?

I would say you are big enough for oline for 1 because your young When I was 16 I was an offensive gaurd weighing 230 at 6ft...blocking guys that were 320...Ridiculous I know...but it earned me a full scholarship to a D1aa school. I became a 4 year starter, and a team captain with a bunch of other accolades...I didn't frown at playing offensive line even though in HS I played O line, Dend, RB, FB and TE and I was a sprinter as a senior on my track team..yea it seemed like Oline was a waste but after I graduated I was offered a contract in Germany, and I have spoken to numerous Arena 1 teams...Any how keep your grades up because that is very important and Most important= Never Get Discouraged. Feel free to contact me at anytime.

try first the line position gain more experience and try to be a QB but for me what ever position does not matter, it matters on how you play the game. good luck!

Ask your coach. Think about it. If I'm in Massachusetts and you in Montana how should I know what you competition is like. Your coach will not steer you wrong. An Internet yahoo might.

Play end-guard-tackle.

Sit on the end of the bench. Guard the water bucket. Tackle anyone who tries to steal it.
