I AM GOING TO BE AUDITONING IN 3 MONTHS FOR A MUSICAL SHOW THEY ASKED US TO HAVE AN UPTEMPO TYPE MUSIC AND THREE SONGS THAT WE ARE GOOD AT... THEY HAVE TO BE COUNTRY/POP TYPE. BUT THEY HAVE TO BE UPBEAT. SO ANY ONE HAVE ANY IDEAS I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. I WAS THINKING OF USING A SONG BY SHANIA TWAIN SHE IS A CLASSIC SO I NEED LOTS OF OPINONS AND IDEAS!

Hey, for your country songs, You could try doing songs by Rascal Flatts.. Try their album Me and My Gang, every song in there is country and it is really upbeat.. An example would be Me and My Gang or Backwards. Good luck

Maybe you could turn off the CAPS lock and tell us what show and role you'd be auditioning for if it's something specific? That would help tremendously.

Dig into the music and find your songs. If your background it so weak that you can't do that on your own, maybe you shouldn't be auditioning. I know you are worried about making the right choices, but the only worrie is how well can you do the song? The right choices are the songs you do the best.
