When someone sneezes do you say bless you?

I always do, and sometimes I get a "Thankyou" from them.

Certainly do.. however when in a room full of people and someone across the room sneezes, i will just say it in my head (hhmmm, its my own voice don't worry). Its just plain rude not to bless somebody. You should say bless you after each sneeze.

'Ring 'a ring of roses' - At the time of the plague in England, an indication of having contracted the disease was a ring of rose coloured spots on the skin.
'A pocket full of posies' - The posies were bunches of pungent herbs that it was hoped would protect people from the plague.
'Atishoo atishoo' - sneezing was a symptom of the plague, so people offered their blessings to the sneezer, hence "bless you".
'We all fall down' - Dead.

I've been told when you sneeze your soul exits your body and demons can take it and when someone says bless you even you to yourself your soul is returned to your body lol

The purpose behind it is that when you sneeze, there are many germs/bacteria that float around and pollute the air and cause negative vibrations.
Thus we say 'God Bless You' to protect yourself from the negatives around you.
