I've addressed some issues to the boss on some problem employees. They caught wind and I'm thinking life will be hell for me now. What to do to relieve the anxiety please?

Trust me these issues I felt I had to address because certain employees aren't pulling their own weight and leaving me stuck to do it all.

The best thing you can do is not worry about it until it happens. If they do hassle you, then you should document it and if it continues bring it to the attention of your boss. If the boss/company failed to act then you could have grounds for a harassment claim.

Unfortunately, once you decide to blow the whistle on someone, you do have to face the possibility of retaliation. While this is illegal, it doesn't prevent it from happening or affecting your life once it does happen.

When You complain about people that You work with the best way is to complain to them, first. This way You cut out the game of Chinese whispers. Going to the boss is not something i would consider unless really serious. If You complain to the boss do not get personal. If they are lazy or on a go slow that is something for the boss to do something about. Not going to work show others that they have got the better of You and annoy the boss. Just by going to work and completing Your tasks each day will show Your resolve in beliefs of a fair day's work for a fair day's pay.

I've gone through the same thing a few times at work. I've also dreaded and took days off only to give the anxiety a chance to grow. I've learned to just say to myself "What's done is done, and I wouldn't have felt the need to say things if they were warranted". Obviously you feel overloaded and taken advantage of and things have to change. Say to yourself "So what if they know, I did the right thing, and they know it!! Be prepared to stand your ground, hold your head up, and have some comments ready to affirm what you said.

I know it seems like this problem is all-consuming right now, but from experience it will now only get better. You made some changes, now go ahead onto it, and you'll be a stronger person from this.

stand tall. i had the same issue and took it to the boss, to no avail, just pull your weight, if theyre not doing their jobs, the boss will eventually see, so hold your head high, and do your best!! know that you did what you could, and that is all you can do, and your consience is clean because you worked hard, and earned your pay. if you go to quit, and need a referral, chances are better than not that you will get a good one because they see the work you put forth as compared to the others. good luck, chin up!! youll win out eventually, just hold your ground.

Just go in with your head held high and smile a lot. If anyone gives you a hard time or tackles you about it...walk away and when your boss has sorted it all out, if anyone is mean...put in a complaint.

Hun, whenever you "open a can of worms" at work, be prepared to deal with whatever may come your way. If you strongly believe in what you said, then hold your head high and be strong. Don't cower. Be confident and stick to your guns. Good luck to you sweetie. ;o)

JUST GO IN, YOU WILL HAVE TO SOONER OR LATER. YOUR FELLOW EMPLOYEES KNOW THAT THEY ARE BEING LAZY AND YOU ARE GETTING DUMPED ON. IF THEY GIVE YOU A BUNCH OF TROUBLE YOU CAN TRY TO TALK TO THEM ABOUT IT OR TALK TO THE BOSS. IF THE WORK ENVIRONMENT GETS TOO BAD YOU MIGHT HAVE TO LOOK FOR ANOTHER JOB. JUST TO LET YOU KNOW THERE IS SUCH A THING AS A HOSTILE WORK ENVIRONMENT, JUST DOCUMENT STUFF.

well this sounds like its going to be hard but some times you need to take action . Tell them that your just not going to take it. Tell them they need to be helping you and your bussines by pulling some of their weight . But dont get scared and have an anxiety just take it slow and tell them how you feel and what they could be doing to help out.I hope this works for you. good luck.
