point about 'nothing' is it does not 'look like' at all.

word can not describe what neither exists nor not exists. nor can an image, nor can sound, smell or any other attribute. 'nothing' is a matter beyond duality, beyond discrimination. it only can be hinted, not described, because individual perception warps the idea greatly regardless of the communication form.

no need to be upset. you've got the question after all, which rather few venture to endure. if i were to guess, i'd say it's a koen, a chan (zen) buddist riddle. if it is, then i apologize for giving the answer, for koens work only if one discovers the answer without assistance.

good luck to you.

First off black is not a color, some say a shade others a tone however, black is the absence of color therefore it is a form of nothing. (as said in Rob Zombies Halloween)

the explanation on wikipedia is

Nothing is commonly understood as the lack or absence of anything at all. Colloquially, the term is often used to indicate the lack of anything relevant or significant, or to describe a particularly unimpressive thing, event, or object.

thats all i can think of, but you can never find nothing because when you are looking for nothing it becomes something, something you are looking for therefore it ceases to be a nothing and becomes a something.

Nothing is something which is not there..it is something without shape size mass or color..We usually think that every word has some shape abstract or material but nothing Is just a word for expressing the meaning "there isn't anything"...
This is my point of view

Nothing existed before the Universe decided to "create itself"
(Big Bang Theory) or was created by GOD.[No Stars,no Space no Light no Time, absolutely nothing]

What I think nothing is like when you fall into a dreamless sleep. There is no sense of time and no thoughts, there is just nothing. Also I think this may happen you die, which wouldn't be so bad since I enjoy sleeping.

I saw a nothing once, and it looked a lot like a void nullity, a blank nonexistence with a tinge of oblivion. You know what? It was quite something!!

Nothing means non-existing, and something non-existing cannot have a physical structure. Therefore, "nothing" does not look like anything.
