1. Why positive charge moves from higher voltage to lower voltage?
2. why negative charge moves from lower voltage to higher voltage?
3. if one positive charge of 1 coulomb spontaneseously moves between point 100 volt and 150 volt, it converts some of the energy it has into energy of motion, how much energy would this charge convert to energy of motion?
4. 12 volts with 2 amperes and a circuit of 12 volt with 5 amperes, which has higher electrical resistance? why? (i answer the 2 amperes with higher resistance between with resistance, that's why it is lower or else with lower resistance, it would be 5 amperes)
5. why some magnetic materials are magnets while others are not but behave like one in the presence of another magnet?
6. why some materials are magnetic while others may be non-magnetic.?
7. if i drop a magnet through long vertical copper pipe and it moves slowly compared with the drop of a nonmagnetized object. why?
thx 4 the help, those were only problem i got stuck wit

1 & 2.
any spontaneous thing happens in nature in order to decrease its energy. like a rock fall from a height.
now lets say q is a +ve charge & V1 & V2 are 2 potentilas
V1>V2
V1q>V2q
hence charge will flow 4m higher to lower potential.
in case of -ve charge -q
V1*-q therefore
charge flows 4m, lower to higher.
3.
entire energy will b converted into KE.
of course if u have sum resistance it will b less.
4. V=IR
R=V/I.
which implies R inversely proportional to I.
hence 2 amp has higher resistance.
5 & 6.
in the atoms the electrons are paired up & sum are unpaired.
there sum rules on the pairing.
now 2 electron are paired up only if their spins are diff.
now if they are paired up then the 2 spins cancel the magnetic file created by the the other.
hence these show no magnetism even in magnetic fileds. tese are know as diamagnetic material.
in case if atoms withe unpaired electrons magnetism is there at atomic level. these are either ferro or para magnetic.
ferro are those in which even in bulk the magnetism is see. but para are those in which the magnetic effect of atoms are cancled by each other in bulk.
7.
there is a law called lenz law which states that when ever there is a change in magnetic flux through a coil current is generated to oppose the change.
now when the magnet falls the current is generated to oppose the change hence slows the magnet

4. You are right. 2 ams circuit has higher resistance. Voltage / current = resistance

7. The magnet sets up an induced emf in the conducting copper pipe and that in turn acts on the magnet in an opposite direction,

Pl. post only 1 or two problems in each question.
