the only restriction was if you had electric windows, they wouldn't. now, with a new chief, they don't do it at all. do the cops in your area unlock cars?

Yes but we have to sign a waiver that if they do any damage to your car, they are not responsible for it and cannot be sued for any damages. Or if you have side airbags they won't for that either.

In my area, I think they only do it if you have a child locked inside.

They're not allowed to here any more. They said you have to call a locksmith now.

nope - too much liability

prove to me it's your car - well my license is inside (yeah-right)

get a locksmith - they're insured and bonded

Buy a BMW. You can't lock your keys in it.
