Remodeling a 45 year old brick ranch home. The standard 12" toilet (I assume twelve inches from the wall) doesn't work. The toilet in the bathroom is 10". I cannot find one anywhere to replace it. Any suggestions?

Try a Plumbing Supply store or a Bath store like Kohler. I know they still make them but the Big Box stores usually only stock the 12" since this is the most used.

Eljer, I believe it is, has a 10 and 12, the bowl is the same, the difference is in the tank. Contact a reputable plumbing supply and they should have one in stock for you, best of luck.
