I suspect that USA has a higher % of prescribed meds than any other country. Am I right?? Why??? Is it a complex urban life??? If so Japan should rate well too -yes???

its because health care in the usa is by and large run by the pharmaceutical companies. they put a lot of effective adverts on and convince ppl they got troubles that they don't. and a lot of Americans think answers can be found in a pill or a bottle. too many people like the easy way out.

It is due to government and corporations. I don't know about urban life that much other than everything is always higher priced in the cities from housing to meds to taxes.

I suppose thats possible because they have more people there for more people to take drugs that cause a lot of it
you only have to watch COPS & see that most cars that are pulled up have drugs on them,
well the ones they show on tv anyway

i don't know about the other countries. all i know is here in the usa they will try to give you a pill for everything. it's a crazy world. (no pun intended!)
