Follow this set up:

Then install an ATI HD2600XT or Geforce 8600GT graphics card. It should be able to play most games up to medium resolution/medium quality settings.

Here are 2 answers
1/ if you want a quick PC Spend around $300.oo AU on each of the following,CPU, MB, graphics card and a 500watt PSU or higher.
2/ Get a really good MB P 35T chip set as this takes DDR3 and add components when you can afford it. DDR3 1GB $400.00, 8800 series graphics $400.00 to $900.00, Extreme CPU $1000.00 +, 800watt PSU and then you can really fly. follow the link to some Gigabyte MB's with p35t chip sets these are around $300.00 mark .happy hunting. http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/Motherboard/Products_Overview.aspx?ProductID=2636

Gaming / on a budget is the worst kind of combination you could get..

My suggestion? save a little longer and then buy a faster pc. You could start off with buying upgradeble parts, like a slow processor now, and a faster later on, but then you are trowing money away...

Gaming pc's require lots of ram, fast graphics, large power supply's and so on..

What you're asking is like a ferrari on a 2liter diesel engine...

don't throw your money away, just save a little longer, you won't regret it...
