In Arabic, I prefer Masri el-Yom, but in English I read Daily News (used to be called Daily Star) and sometimes al-Ahram Weekly online (I have friends work at both those last two newspapers).

You didn't say it has to be an Egyptian newspaper, so I'd choose The Guardian (UK).

When i was a young girl i loved "Al Ahram".
But now i don't really read newspapers any more and when i absolutely have to i go for "Al Dostour".

" Al Dostoor " is the top for me.
I really like Ibrahim Issa & Belal Fadl and many other writers in such newspaper ........ plus it's really "CLEAN"
