I grew up in the '80s, but I have to go with the '60s on this one.

SIXTIES
I have no doubts about this! There's such an amazing range of music, with so many styles, distinctive voices and wonderful composers. There was such vitality!
I do like a lot of the Eighties, especially Heavy Metal/hard rock! I never missed Headbangers Ball! Every decade has quite a bit of good in it I think.
By the way, Yahoo! needs a lesson in punctuation because it keeps offering the wrong thing. It should be this style:
1980s
'80s
1990s
'90s
See? There is no apostrophe between the number and the "s" because it's not possessive! Also, if you drop off the "19", the apostrophe goes in front of the number to show that it has been removed. But, Yahoo!'s search still insists on 1990's (for example)~that incorrect style! ARRRGH! That's one of my major pet peeves! I was an English major, so you can imagine how much it bugs me that Yahoo! is "teaching" errors! *sigh*
