Does mtv pay its reality tv stars? And if so how much?

I know the stars of the Hills get paid. I think I read they get paid $25,000 per episode, but I'm not sure. I'm sure they have to pay the stars of the other shows as well.

pretty sure they do. on Big Brother (Favorite) when the houseguests went to the jury house they had talked about their stipend. Oh, I miss Big Brother!!!!!

they all get compnesated. even the pople of survivor get paid for the show
