There isnt a "African American" running for president. Its all Americans!
By LAW it must be an American! A immigrant from another country or CONTINENT in africas case, will most likely hold allegience and honor to that homeland, and not America.
But if in the future, if a child of African immigrants in america, who was born in America decides to run for president, we very well might then have a president, whos parent(s) are African American.
But again. By LAW. Our president must be born in America, and is therefore an "American".
A "Country Of Origin-American" running for president is ILLEGAL.

Something to chew on: Barack Obama's mother is white and father is black. What if he'd been born white? Bill Richardson's mother is Mexican and father is white. What if he'd been born white?
Race makes no difference! What matters is what a candidate believes.
