Be whatever you want...or you could be creative and come up with play on words costumes, like dressing as a worm and carrying a book (bookworm) or balancing a board with a fake lamp and a martini glass on it with fishnet stockings and be a one-night stand. You could cosplay as a favorite character (assuming you like anime). You could wear a plaid shirt and carry around a chainsaw to be a lumberjack, and scare the peewee out of everybody when you turn it on and step up to a door.

go completely out of character: wear pink, with angel wings. a sweet pink or blonde wig, blue or lavander eyeshadow and be a fairy granting wishes, or a garden fairy. Have fun. Take candy with you and give it to young children you meet on the way.
