Do they use marrow like us? their skeletal structure is quite different from mamals in that they dont have bone.

From hemopoietic tissue.
They are present in the gills, liver etc.

They do have bone, some just have a different more flexible type of bone called cartilage. Usually only more "primitive" fish have only cartilage or a combination of cartilage and bone, but it still has marrow to produce blood.
