Lioness: Yes, it makes perfect sense.
I'm content that I've made it this far with what I have and who I am, but know that there is more of myself and life (in general) left unexplored and waiting to be discovered, I want to reach some of that before expiring from this existence (if there isn't another).

I look at life the same way I do when I'm running my two miles. It's one step at a time, there is a goal, but at the same time. I'm feeling good while I'm pushing because I know I'm getting closer and closer, and the sweat is making me feel good while I'm running too. When I run the two miles for a month, I add another mile or activity and push harder and harder towards a higher goal--although I'm pretty content for having achieved what I already did. Makes sense? When I say achievement, I'm not just talking about finances, there is the whole figuring out the emotional, mental, spiritual goals and working towards them part too, which is usually harder than making money.

I'm pretty self-critical and want a lot out of life, so sometimes I find myself in the fast lane, not even knowing where all the time went, but I'm getting better. So to make an unnecessarily long story short: I'm content but I want more LOL

You?

No I'm not content with my life... but I'm learning that I've wasted alot of time being unhappy with what I don't have. Since certain things in my life have hardly gone the way I've wanted it to for like 10 years, I've learned that my thinking is the problem. I just need to focus on appreciating what I have, because I am never going to be happy always complaining about what I don't have. I'm just now learning to accept that I would be happy with whatever life gives to me right now. Good or bad. but please.... more good would be nice!!!

Yes, I'm content. Contentment is a comfortable thing. I do sometimes wish for the freedom to travel and thumb my nose at the boss, though.

No I'm not content with my life as it is.The ties that bind are tied really tight.Even though they are severed, I am still bound to a life of taking care of a person who hurt me for a long, long time.

I am content in the here and now. And open to expanding my horizons as the opportunities present themselves!

I think what she is trying to say is that...are you happy with what your life is so far...or do you wish it was more than what it is...and to answer the question...yeah, sometimes I do wish for more...

Gratefully discontented. I want to do more, to be more, to improve.
